Some Nimbiq customers choose to receive internal SMS alerts when a website visitor submits a contact request through their chatbot. These SMS alerts are sent only to authorized business staff members who have opted in.

What Staff SMS Alerts are used for
Staff SMS Alerts notify a business when a new website chatbot lead is captured.
These messages are internal business notifications only. Nimbiq does not send these SMS alerts to website visitors, prospects, patients, or consumers.
What a typical message looks like
SMS alerts contain minimal lead information, such as business name, lead name, and lead phone number.
SMS alerts do not include medical symptoms, diagnosis, treatment advice, insurance details, appointment confirmations, payment information, or chatbot transcripts.
How SMS Consent Works
Nimbiq sends a unique consent link to the business owner or authorized staff recipient.
The recipient opens the form and reviews the SMS consent disclosures, including business information managed by Nimbiq.
The recipient enters the Staff SMS Alert Recipient details, including the mobile number to receive alerts.
The recipient completes the Authorized Signer information, checks the consent agreement (the checkbox is not pre-selected), and provides a typed signature to opt in.
Nimbiq records the consent event. Only opted-in authorized recipients receive SMS staff alerts.
Nimbiq uses only web-form opt-in for this SMS campaign. Nimbiq does not use keyword opt-in, paper forms, verbal opt-in, QR code opt-in, purchased lists, imported consent, third-party lead consent, or verbal consent for this SMS campaign.
